Our History

The promoters of Los Yerbales share a genuine connection with the tradition of mate, rooted in our family and professional history. Our family, of Brazilian origin, settled in Misiones more than 70 years ago. Our parents, immigrants, worked as harvesters on yerba mate plantations, which allowed us to grow up immersed in this tradition.

At the age of 18, we moved to Buenos Aires and built our careers in the transportation sector, always dreaming of returning to our roots. In 2019, that dream came true with the founding of Los Yerbales, a family business involving five brothers and their children. We are dedicated to the plantation of yerba mate in Misiones, managing all the processes, from cultivation and harvesting to distribution and marketing throughout the country.

As leaders with a successful track record in various business ventures, we have accumulated vast business knowledge and experience. Today, proud of our roots, we continue to work together to share the authentic mate experience with all Argentines and tourists who wish to experience this ritual.
